SUNDAY BULLETIN

Sunday Eucharist
10:30 am

“Every Sunday, we get to dine with God.” That is how one beloved member of St. Peter’s described what she experiences on Sunday mornings at church. Whether it’s during worship or at Coffee Hour afterwards, a meal is at the heart of our life together.

As an Episcopal Church, our worship includes ancient rituals, yet also embraces the present in meaningful ways. Our liturgy (or prayer) includes hymns and songs as well as times of quiet. There are readings from Holy Scripture, a sermon, prayers and a celebration of the Holy Eucharist where we experience Jesus present with us in bread and wine. People of all ages, including children, are welcome and expected at worship at St. Peter’s.

Following worship, the holy meal that we share together in church continues at Coffee Hour. As our rector says each week, Coffee Hour is “a continuation of the hospitality we experienced at God’s table.” Some people have remarked that at St. Peter’s, “Coffee Hour” does not do it justice since there is always a meal. We like to think of it as a foretaste of the heavenly banquet. We hope you will come experience it with us.
